This is where all Pokémon trainers start out, as it is where professor Oak gives out the Starter Pokémon.
Route 1:
Route 1 is a route north of Pallet Town, it connects Pallet town to Viridian City. It is a very empty route except for the wild Pokémon in the Grass. Going up there is grass, but on the way down, you can hop down the ledges
